Patient First is seeking a front office team member to support patient registration and billing processes at our Buffalo center. You will assist patients at the kiosk, escort those needing emergency care, answer billing questions, and register patients in the electronic medical record system with care and accuracy.

Responsibilities include handling cash, issuing receipts, maintaining a clean front desk, and coordinating messages and documentation.

Competenze

• Minimum one year of clerical experience preferred.
• High school graduate or equivalent required.
• Excellent verbal, written, and typed communication skills.
• Ability to sit, stand, and walk for up to seven hours.
• Ability to lift up to 25 pounds and handle busy front-office duties.

Mansioni

• Assist patients using the kiosk prior to registration.
• Escort patients to treatment areas for registration and evaluation.
• Provide courteous information about billing policies and charges.
• Register patients accurately and expeditiously in the EMR.
• Handle cash, collect payments, and issue receipts.
• Maintain front-office cleanliness and stocking of supplies.
• Answer calls and route messages in a timely manner.
• Participate in shift checklists and maintenance tasks.
