Neighborhood Health Center is looking for a Patient Service Representative to greet patients, verify information, schedule appointments, and collect co-pays. You will be the first face patients see and help set a positive tone for every visit.

Requirements include a high school diploma, English fluency (Spanish preferred), strong customer service, and the ability to learn new software. Shifts Monday–Friday 7:45 a.m.–8:00 p.m.; base pay $18.50/hour.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Ability to read, write and speak English; Spanish preferred.
• Ability to learn new software and computer systems.
• Customer service skills and attention to detail.
• Need to be able to work any shift Monday-Friday 7:45 a.m.–8:00 p.m.
• Experience in medical office or terminology preferred but not required.

Responsabilités

• Check-in patients and verify insurance information.
• Schedule and change appointments and collect co-payments.
• Print daily schedules and front desk reports.
• Assist in open and closing procedures.
• Verify patient information in the computer system.
• Communicate delays to the front desk lead.
• Ensure appointments are confirmed.
• Assist patients with forms and payments.
• Handle cash following policy.
• Based at Riverway, may travel to other Neighborhood sites.
