The role emphasizes accurate data entry, effective communication, and customer service excellence in a busy medical office.

The position requires at least two years in a medical office setting, a high school diploma or GED, and preferred bilingual capabilities.

Qualifications

• Minimum two years in a medical office front desk or customer service role.
• High School diploma or GED required.
• Bilingual preferred.
• Familiarity with insurance verification and patient billing.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Greet patients upon arrival, sign them in, and verify information in the system.
• Verify insurance and assist uninsured or underinsured self-pay patients.
• Attend daily huddle; follow up on missed or canceled appointments.
• Explain the Medical Center’s system of care and available programs to new patients.
• Educate patients about appointment importance and payment responsibilities.
• Maintain a pleasant, professional dialogue with all registrants.
• Ensure quality customer service for patients, clients, and vendors.
• Develop and present reports detailing status and progress of the Patient Services division.
• Submit daily assignment checklists to the Team Lead.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
