• Provide compassionate customer service to create a positive patient experience.
• Interact with patients and families in sensitive situations with professionalism.
• Register patients, verify insurance, schedule appointments and handle cash receipts accurately.
• Encourage use of front-end technology during registration.
• Enter and maintain patient information including insurance and billing data.
• Assist billing functions and direct to the appropriate office when needed.
• Follow applicable emergency codes and healthcare regulations.
• Monitor inventory and stock medications and emergency supplies.
