Responsibilities

• Greet patients and their families as they arrive in the clinic.
• Check in patients, including collecting updated information for the EHR.
• Answer telephones, confirm appointments, and route calls to staff as needed.
• Assist with maintaining provider templates and appointment schedules.
• Collect co-pays and process payments at day end
• Schedule walk-in patients for same-day appointments.
• Explain sliding scale policy and verify income information in the EHR.
• Other duties as assigned.
