PT Solutions Physical Therapy in New Jersey is seeking a Patient Service Coordinator to be the vital link between patients, providers, and insurers, ensuring seamless, efficient care from start to finish.

Your responsibilities include verifying insurance coverage, securing prior authorizations, coordinating physician referrals, and optimizing scheduling while maintaining HIPAA compliance and excellent patient relationships.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or GED required.
• 1-2 years of customer service experience, healthcare preferred.
• Experience with insurance verification or medical billing is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Reconcile patient payments and units billed while following HIPAA guidelines
• Follow appropriate processes for Insurance Verification and/or benefits management
• Obtain authorization and/or prior authorization
• Over the counter collections and reconciliation of all charges weekly and monthly
• Maintain relationships with patients, providers, clinicians, and internal operational departments
