Job summary

PT Solutions Physical Therapy is seeking a Patient Service Coordinator to bridge patients, providers, and insurers, ensuring a seamless care journey. You will verify insurance, secure authorizations, coordinate referrals, and optimize schedules in a fast-paced private practice environment.

The role emphasizes strong patient communication, HIPAA-compliant handling of payments, and collaboration with cross-functional teams to drive access to care.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or GED required; submission of diploma for highest level obtained may be requested.
• 1–2 years of customer service experience; healthcare experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Reconcile patient payments and units billed while following HIPAA guidelines.
• Follow processes for Insurance Verification and/or benefits management.
• Obtain authorization and/or prior authorization.
• Over the counter collections and reconciliation of all charges weekly and monthly.
• Maintain relationships with patients, providers, clinicians, and internal operational departments.
