You'll own administrative and communication processes, verify insurance coverage and prior authorizations, coordinate referrals, and optimize schedules to help patients access care quickly and confidently.

Qualifications

• High School or GED required.
• 1-2 years customer service experience, healthcare preferred.
• Experience with HIPAA and insurance processes is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Reconcile patient payments and units billed while following HIPAA guidelines
• Follow appropriate processes for Insurance Verification and/or benefits management
• Obtain authorization and/or prior authorization
• Over the counter collections and reconciliation of all charges weekly and monthly
• Maintain relationships with patients, providers, clinicians, and internal operational departments
