PT Solutions Physical Therapy in Westfield, NJ is seeking a Patient Service Coordinator to be the vital link between patients, providers, and insurers, ensuring a seamless care journey and accurate billing for every visit.

You will verify insurance coverage, obtain prior authorizations, coordinate referrals, reconcile payments, and optimize scheduling while upholding HIPAA guidelines. A high school diploma and 1–2 years of healthcare customer service are required.

Qualifications

• High School or GED diploma is required.
• 1-2 years of customer service experience, healthcare preferred.

Responsibilities

• Reconcile patient payments and units billed while following HIPAA guidelines.
• Follow processes for Insurance Verification and/or benefits management.
• Obtain authorization and/or prior authorization.
• Over the counter collections and reconciliation of all charges weekly and monthly.
• Maintain relationships with patients, providers, clinicians, and internal operational departments.
