Advocate Health Care in Naperville is seeking a PRN administrative scheduler. You will greet patients, collect co-pays, and manage calendar and travel coordination. You will enter patient information, coordinate with physician offices, and triage calls in a fast-paced health care environment.

The role requires strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and proficient Microsoft Office use. EPIC experience is preferred.

Qualifications

• Experience scheduling, customer service, and clerical support.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office (Excel, PowerPoint, Access, Word).
• EPIC experience preferred.

Responsabilités

• Greets patients and visitors, collects co-pays, answers routine information requests.
• Schedules/maintains calendar of appointments, meetings, travel; coordinates related admin tasks.
• Schedules patients and enters information into the system; coordinates with physician offices.
• Answers and screens calls; triages clinical calls and resolves problems.
• Assembles, copies, and releases patient records; works with Medical Records for requests.
• Generates, updates, and distributes basic reports.
• Sorts and distributes mail; operates office equipment; orders supplies as needed.
• Completes referrals, tracks re-authorizations, and handles patient registration.
