Job summary

Advocate Health Naperville Pediatric Therapy department is seeking a part-time PRN administrative professional. Responsibilities include greeting patients, collecting co-payments, scheduling appointments, updating records, and coordinating with physicians and staff.

Schedule varies based on department needs, typically 8 am to 6 pm, Monday through Friday, with hours as needed. Experience in scheduling and customer service is preferred; EPIC experience is a plus.

Qualifications

• Typically requires 1 year of experience in scheduling, customer service, and administrative/clerical support duties.
• EPIC experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Greets patients and visitors, collects insurance co-payments, and responds to routine information requests.
• Schedules and maintains calendar of appointments and travel, coordinates related administrative aspects.
• Schedules patients and enters information into the computer system; coordinates with physician offices as needed.
• Answers and screens telephone calls and triages clinical calls.
• Assembles, copies, and releases patient medical records; works with Medical Records regarding requests for notes/additional information.
• Generates basic reports and distributes reports as needed.
• Operates and maintains office equipment and orders supplies.
