Job summary

PT Solutions Physical Therapy is seeking a Patient Service Coordinator in New Jersey to serve as the essential link between patients, providers, and insurers.

You will verify coverage, secure prior authorizations, coordinate referrals, and optimize schedules to ensure a smooth care journey for patients. This role offers ongoing development, mentorship, and opportunities within a nationwide practice.

Qualifications

• High School or GED required.
• 1-2 years of customer service experience (healthcare preferred).
• Knowledge of HIPAA guidelines is beneficial.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.

Responsibilities

• Reconcile patient payments and units billed following HIPAA guidelines.
• Follow processes for Insurance Verification and benefits management.
• Obtain authorization and/or prior authorization.
• Over the counter collections and reconciliation of charges weekly and monthly.
• Maintain relationships with patients, providers, clinicians, and internal departments.
