Illinois Bone and Joint Institute LLC is seeking a Patient Services Coordinator II to deliver exceptional patient-centered service and support IBJI teams. This role emphasizes accurate registration, efficient scheduling, and mentoring new staff to maintain a positive patient experience.

Responsibilities include greeting patients, handling inquiries, coordinating appointments, triaging calls, and ensuring smooth check-in/out processes while maintaining a professional, confidential environment.

Qualifications

• Minimum three years experience in a customer service role (medical office experience a plus).
• Minimum 1 year in a patient services related role.
• EHR experience with Epic preferred.
• Ability to handle highly confidential information.
• Familiarity with scheduling and rearranging appointments.

Responsibilities

• Welcome patients and visitors with high quality customer service.
• Prepare paperwork to facilitate efficient operation and excellent service.
• Answer general inquiries and manage appointment scheduling.
• Phone reception, patient triage and escalation to staff.
• Registration/pre-registration including demographics, insurance, and documents.
