Premier Orthopaedics is seeking a patient service representative to join our Center City, PA team. The role focuses on warm patient check-in/out, insurance verification, appointment scheduling, and payments while maintaining confidentiality and accuracy in EMR systems.

The ideal candidate has 1–2 years of front desk healthcare experience, strong communication, and a commitment to HIPAA compliance. This is a full-time on-site position with generous benefits.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED preferred.
• 1–2 years patient registration or front office experience in healthcare preferred.
• Experience with insurance rules, medical terminology, and EMR systems is a plus.

Responsabilités

• Greet and assist patients promptly; notify staff of arrival.
• Verify demographic and insurance information and collect required authorizations/referrals.
• Schedule appointments and coordinate follow-ups.
• Collect co-pays, co-insurances, and past-due balances; explain financial responsibilities.
• Scan and maintain EMR documentation; ensure HIPAA compliance.
