Premier Orthopaedics, in partnership with Philadelphia Hand to Shoulder, seeks a stand‑out Patient Service Representative for its Center City, Philadelphia office. You will greet patients, verify insurance, schedule visits, collect payments, and maintain HIPAA-compliant records in a busy front office.

The role is a full-time on-site position, Monday–Friday, with opportunities for growth and a dedicated support team to ensure patient-centric care.

Competenze

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• 1–2 years of patient registration/front office experience preferred.
• Experience with insurance rules and HIPAA compliance desirable.
• Experience with EMR systems preferred (Allscripts Pro Suite a plus).
• Experience collecting payments and explaining financial responsibilities to patients is a plus.

Mansioni

• Greet and assist patients at check-in and check-out.
• Answer calls and relay messages as needed.
• Assist patients with medical history and forms.
• Collect demographic/insurance information and authorizations.
• Handle payments and explain financial responsibilities to patients.
• Verify insurance and benefits; resolve coverage issues.
• Schedule follow-up appointments and referrals.
• Maintain EMR documentation and organize charts for next day.
• Balance cash drawer daily and maintain confidentiality.
