Premier Orthopaedics, in partnership with Philadelphia Hand to Shoulder Center, is seeking a part-time Patient Service Representative for Paoli Urgent Care. You will greet patients, manage check-in/out, verify insurance, schedule appointments, and collect payments.

The role emphasizes accuracy, confidentiality, and HIPAA compliance while supporting front office operations. Requires 1–2 years in medical front desk, high school diploma, and experience with EMR systems such as Allscripts Pro Suite.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED preferred.
• 1–2 years of medical front office or patient registration experience.
• Experience with insurance rules and EMR systems (Allscripts Pro Suite a plus).
• Knowledge of HIPAA guidelines and patient confidentiality.

Responsibilities

• Greet patients and verify their arrival accurately.
• Manage check-in/check-out and scheduling.
• Collect payments and explain financial responsibilities to patients.
• Verify insurance and benefits and process required authorizations/referrals.
• Maintain accurate EMR documentation and prepare charts for the next day.
• Maintain HIPAA confidentiality and follow front office SOPs.
