Job summary

Olympic Sports & Spine seeks a full-time Patient Service Rep to join our Puyallup clinic. The role performs front desk duties, manages patient scheduling, verifies insurance, and communicates with referrals to ensure smooth patient flow.

The position runs Monday–Friday, 9:00 a.m.–6:00 p.m., totaling 40 hours weekly. Candidates should be organized, with strong communication skills and proficiency in office software. Training and support are provided.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or equivalent with three years related experience, or equivalent education/experience.
• Knowledge of insurance verification processes and office procedures.
• Ability to operate a computer, scanner, fax/copy, and basic office equipment.
• Proficient with multi-line telephone systems and patient communication.

Responsibilities

• Process patient services, including calls, scheduling, insurance verification, follow-up, charts, filing, and referral communication.
• Manage high-volume scheduling: answer calls, verify insurance, obtain authorizations, pull charts and reminders.
• Collect outstanding payments, balance nightly, and print reports.
• Maintain daily statistical logs and prepare daily task lists; communicate with staff via Outlook.
• Attend monthly staff meetings and participate in educational activities.
