Olympic Sports and Spine is seeking a full-time Patient Service Rep for the Olympia Westside clinic. The role focuses on high-volume patient scheduling, insurance verification, and front desk operations, with support and training provided by experienced staff.

Join a friendly team committed to excellent patient service and comprehensive benefits. Schedule is Monday through Friday, 9:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m., totaling 40 hours weekly.

Qualifications

• Knowledge of insurance verification and processes.
• Proficiency with computer programs and office equipment.
• Familiarity with business office procedures.
• Ability to operate a computer, scanner, fax, and basic office equipment.
• Ability to operate a multi-line telephone system.
• Effective oral and written communication with patients and staff.
• Ability to read, understand, and follow instructions.
• Must be organized and detail-oriented, with the ability to prioritize tasks.

Responsibilities

• Receive incoming patient phone calls.
• Verify insurance and obtain authorizations.
• Build and maintain patient charts.
• Collect outstanding patient payments and balance nightly.
• Maintain daily statistical log sheets.
• Pull charts for next day’s appointments and make reminder calls.
• Communicate with OSS staff via Outlook email.
• Coordinate with billing and treating staff to resolve patient matters.
• Attend monthly staff meetings and participate in educational activities.
