Job summary

Proliance Surgeons, Inc. based in Tacoma seeks a Patient Services Representative to be the friendly face of the practice, handling front desk duties, patient check-in, scheduling, and insurance verification in a fast-paced environment.

You may float to Lakewood or Gig Harbor locations to cover front desk and call center needs. The role requires strong customer service, HIPAA-compliant handling of patient information, and the ability to work Tuesday through Saturday, 11:00am - 7:30pm.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent.
• 1-2 years relevant experience in public contact, preferably in medical office environment.
• Minimum 1-year front office or reception experience, medical preferred.
• Practice Management and experience (desired).

Responsibilities

• Provide exemplary customer service, both in person and on the phone.
• Greet and direct patients, vendors, and visitors.
• Follow protocols to schedule patient appointments and verify information.
• Enter patient data accurately into the practice management/EHR system.
• Coordinate with medical staff to ensure smooth patient flow.
• Assist with check-in process and appointment logistics.
• Communicate status of appointments and wait times to patients.
