Job summary

Bon Secours is seeking a Patient Services Representative to be the first point of contact for patients and the community. You will register patients, verify demographics and insurance, explain financial options, schedule appointments, and support operations across practice locations as needed.

Responsibilities include collecting payments, reconciling cash, processing admissions, coordinating referrals, and ensuring accurate chart maintenance, while delivering outstanding customer service daily.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Prior experience in patient registration/healthcare preferred.
• Strong communication and customer service skills required.
• Ability to process patient registration, insurance verification and scheduling.

Responsibilities

• Serve as the primary contact between patients and physician practices.
• Greet patients and provide excellent customer service.
• Process patient registration, verify demographics and insurance information.
• Schedule appointments and assist with MyChart and online scheduling.
• Explain financial options and collect patient payments.
• Assist with referrals, authorizations and chart handling.
