Job summary

Bon Secours Orthopedic Specialists of Midlothian is seeking a Patient Services Representative to be the first point of contact for patients and the community. You will register patients, verify demographics and insurance, schedule appointments, and explain financial options.

You may cover other physician practice locations as needed. Responsibilities include routing calls, updating records, collecting payments, and assisting with referrals and MyChart usage.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Prior experience in patient registration/healthcare preferred.

Responsibilities

• Serve as the primary point of contact between patients and physician practices.
• Greet patients and provide excellent customer service.
• Schedule patients, enter information, and manage registrations.
• Explain financial options and assist with payments.
• Assist with referrals, scheduling, and MyChart usage.
• Verify insurance and process admission paperwork as needed.
• Support department operations and maintain patient charts.
