Job summary

Revo Health is seeking a Patient Services Representative to register and check in patients and provide clinical support. The role is full-time, with rotating hours, Monday–Friday, at our Edina and Eden Prairie locations.

You will greet patients, verify insurance, collect payments, schedule appointments, prepare charts, and coordinate communications with patients and staff. Proficiency in Word/Outlook/Excel and prior customer service experience are required.

Qualifications

• High School diploma/GED or equivalent.
• Proficient in Microsoft Word, Outlook, and Excel.
• Customer Service experience required.
• Administrative or Medical Office experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Greet and register patients; collect co-payments, pre-payments, insurance information, and photo ID for incoming patients.
• Verify and document insurance information as defined by current business practices.
• Accurate and timely scheduling of new and existing patients in the practice management systems.
• Communicate all pertinent information to patients, including appointment information, directions, check-in times, referral information and copayments.
• Chart preparation and management including preparing for outreach events.
• Maintain knowledge of health care plan requirements and health plan networks.
• Maintain timely communication with patients, families, employers and clinic staff.
• Rotation of Switchboard Operator duties: handling and transferring calls, coordinating interpreters, and patient referrals.
