Baylor Scott & White Health is seeking a Patient Services Specialist 1 to support front desk operations in a physician office or clinic. You will assist patients with check-in/check-out, scheduling, insurance verification, and inquiries to ensure high-quality, patient-centered care.

Ideal candidates have HS diploma or GED and experience in healthcare customer service, with strong data entry, communication, and bilingual skills in Spanish and English.

Qualifications

• HS Diploma or GED required.
• Less than 1 year of healthcare front desk/customer service experience preferred.
• Bilingual Spanish-English required to serve a diverse patient population.
• Strong data entry and typing skills with attention to detail.

Responsabilités

• Greet and assist patients at check-in and check-out.
• Schedule appointments and manage referrals.
• Verify insurance information and demographics; update records.
• Answer phone calls and respond to patient inquiries.
• Collect payments and post charges per guidelines.
• Provide accurate information to patients and external entities.
• Support medical records duties as needed.
