Job summary

Pinehurst Medical Clinic (PMC) seeks a friendly Patient Service Representative (PSR) to join our Sanford, NC team. You will greet patients, verify information, check in/out, collect payments, and schedule appointments, ensuring a smooth patient experience.

You will work Monday–Friday, daytime hours as a regular full-time schedule, interacting with a diverse patient population and coordinating with our medical staff to support care delivery.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED or equivalent
• 1–3 months related experience or training
• Preferred 1–2 years medical office experience

Responsibilities

• Greet patients and visitors in a prompt, courteous manner
• Check in/out patients and verify/update information
• Schedule patient appointments for established and new patients
• Collect payments and communicate financial obligations
• Coordinate physician schedules and maintain lobby neat and orderly
• Answer phones, take messages, and provide accurate information
• Handle mail, paperwork, and medical records with accuracy
