Job summary

Solis Mammography in Nashville, TN is hiring a Patient Service Representative to greet patients, register demographics and insurance in RIS, and collect payments, ensuring a smooth front-desk flow. As the first point of contact, you will explain forms, schedule appointments, and maintain confidentiality while delivering compassionate, patient-centered service in a busy imaging center.

Work hours are full-time, 40 hours weekly, Monday-Friday, 8:30am-5:00pm, with occasional later shifts; location

Qualifications

• High School diploma required.
• Two years healthcare registration or customer service experience preferred.
• Basic knowledge of cash handling.
• Basic knowledge of medical terminology preferred.
• Ability to read, write and comprehend simple instructions and short correspondence.
• Ability to perform basic math and sit/stand for long periods.
• Experience using Microsoft Office Suite; RIS software knowledge preferred.

Responsibilities

• Greet patients in a professional and friendly manner.
• Register patients with demographic and insurance information in RIS.
• Explain forms to patients and assist with form completion.
• Process paperwork and maintain confidentiality.
• Collect patient payments and verify benefits when necessary.
• Schedule and reschedule patient appointments.
• Generate daily invoice journal and reconcile payments.
