Job summary

CityMD is seeking a Patient Service Representative to warmly welcome patients at the front desk, manage patient intake, and coordinate with medical staff to ensure timely service. You will enter patient data, assist with paperwork, and handle insurance verification with a courteous, patient-focused approach.

The role requires strong communication, attention to detail, and ability to work in a fast-paced healthcare environment. Prior experience in medical office settings is a plus.

Qualifications

• High School Degree or GED required; strong communication skills essential.
• Experience in high-volume service environments preferred.
• Bilingual abilities may be required based on location.

Responsibilities

• Greeting and welcoming patients
• Organizing and coordinating patient intake and other appointments
• Accurately enters/updates patient information in system
• Assisting patients with completion of paperwork when necessary
• Scanning, updating and filing medical records
• Answering phone calls and patient questions promptly
• Processing insurance information and verifying eligibility
• Handling cash and co-payments accurately
• Providing outstanding customer service to every patient
