CityMD is seeking a Patient Services Representative to greet patients and provide exceptional service at our Clifton location. You will register patients, coordinate intake, and ensure timely patient turnaround while handling paperwork and inquiries with professionalism.

The role requires handling insurance details, cash and co-pays, and accurate data entry in our system. A friendly, team-oriented attitude and clear communication are essential for success.

Qualifikationen

• High school diploma or GED required
• Happy, welcoming and can-do attitude with patients and coworkers
• Experience in high-volume/high-intensity service environment preferred
• Excellent verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills
• Detail-oriented and a team player
• Computer proficiency and keyboarding skills (approx. 55 wpm)
• Flexible/adaptable to evolving environment
• Passion for helping others in healthcare
• Ability to interact effectively with physicians, patients and staff
• Bilingual skills required or preferred based on site location

Aufgaben

• Greeting and welcoming patients
• Organizing and coordinating patient intake and other appointments
• Accurately enter/update patient information in system
• Assist patients with completion of paperwork
• Scanning, updating and filing medical records
• Answering phone calls in a prompt and polite manner
• Processing medical insurance information, verifying eligibility and addressing questions (liaise with Billing)
• Handling cash and co-payments accurately
• Providing outstanding customer service to every patient
• Informing site manager of wait times and patient inquiries
