Job summary

Qualifications

• High School Degree or GED.
• Experience in high-volume/high-intensity service industry.
• Excellent verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills.
• Detail-oriented and a team player.
• Bilingual language skills may be required or preferred by site location.
• Computer proficiency and typing approximately 55 wpm.

Responsibilities

• Greet and welcome patients.
• Organize and coordinate patient intake and appointments.
• Accurately enter/update patient information in the system.
• Assist patients with completion of paperwork when necessary.
• Scan, update and file medical records.
• Answer phone calls and inquiries promptly and politely.
• Process medical insurance information and verify eligibility; liaise with Billing as appropriate.
• Handle cash and co-payments accurately.
• Provide outstanding customer service to every patient.
• Inform site manager of waiting room wait times and patient inquiries.
