Job summary

MyEyeDr in New York is seeking a Patient Service Coordinator to run the front desk, manage check-in/out, and support appointment flow. Training will be provided to learn the eyewear industry and insurance options while delivering best-in-class patient experiences.

This role requires weekend/evening shifts at times, strong organization, teamwork, and communication. You will verify insurance, confirm appointments, and greet patients, contributing to a friendly, efficient office environment.

Qualifications

• Experience in a front desk, reception, or customer-facing role.
• Strong organizational and multi-tasking abilities under pressure.
• Friendly, patient-centric demeanor with teamwork mindset.
• Proficient communication, both oral and written.

Responsibilities

• Provide patients a personalized check in/out experience.
• Verify and educate patients on insurance options at check in/out.
• Assist with appointment confirmations and outreach.
• Manage multiple phone lines, greet walk-ins, and support staff duties.
• Possibility to cross-train to other office roles as needed.
• Collaborate with clinicians to ensure seamless patient experiences.
