Job summary

Responsibilities

• Communicates with patients, other staff, and the public by phone and in person to provide accurate information and guidance.
• Prepares schedules, medical records and documents per quality standards; maintains patient confidentiality.
• Performs check-in, registration and demographic/insurance verification; collects co-pays and directs patients to next service area.
• Monitors patient flow and acts as liaison to ensure smooth service delivery in the practice.
• Schedules follow-up appointments and related tests; enters visit billing tickets and provides educational materials when indicated.
