RadNet is seeking a Patient Service Representative in Hackensack, NJ to greet and register patients, verify insurance details, collect payments, and schedule appointments. The role emphasizes accuracy, professional communication, and coordination with back-office staff to ensure smooth patient flow.

Candidates should have strong customer service experience, basic medical terminology knowledge, and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment. Bilingual Spanish is preferred.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED is required.
• Intermediate to advanced computer skills.
• Strong multitasking and communication skills; experience in customer service.
• Medical terminology knowledge and radiology office experience is preferred.
• Bilingual Spanish speaking preferred.

Responsibilities

• Greet and register patients in a friendly, service-oriented manner.
• Verify insurance and patient information, collect signatures, ensure accuracy of documentation.
• Collect and log co-pays and fees.
• Answer and transfer incoming calls.
• Schedule, reschedule, or cancel appointments; confirm and communicate changes.
• Provide orientation on safety protocols and directions within facilities.
• Coordinate with back-office staff for timely patient care.
• Safeguard patient information and on-site medications per policy.
