Job summary

Patient First seeks a frontline registration specialist in New Jersey. You will assist patients at the kiosk, escort them to the treatment area for registration and evaluation, and support billing discussions with compassion and efficiency.

Ideal candidates have at least a year of clerical experience, strong communication, and the ability to multitask while maintaining a patient-centered approach.

Qualifications

• Must be 18 years or older.
• Basic typing skills.
• Minimum one year of clerical experience preferred.
• High school graduate or equivalent.
• Ability to sit, stand, and walk for up to 7 hours.
• Ability to lift up to 25 pounds.
• Excellent verbal, written and typed communication skills.
• Ability to prioritize and multitask.
• Willing to work at any center due to staffing needs.

Responsibilities

• Assist patients using the kiosk prior to registration.
• Escort patients to the treatment area for registration and evaluation.
• Promptly handle requests from physicians and nurses.
• Explain billing policies to patients as needed.
• Register patients accurately with excellent customer service.
