Job summary

Accendra Health is hiring Branch Coordinators to support patients and caregivers by phone and in person, ensuring timely processing of orders and accurate billing documentation. You will work collaboratively with patients, providers, and team members to maximize insurance benefits and expedite care.

The role emphasizes handling multiple systems, delivering excellent customer service, and maintaining accurate records, with standard business hours and opportunities to contribute to team efficiency.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent.
• At least one year of related work experience.

Responsibilities

• Act as first point of contact to patients arriving in person.
• Answer inbound calls from customers on a multi-line system and provide information or resolve issues.
• Process branch tasks: create/work with orders, verify insurance, obtain authorizations, review faxes, data entry.
• Coordinate with sales, referrals and patients to gather documentation for insurance guidelines.
• Request health plan authorizations/information as required.
• Review patient accounts and bill health insurance plans.
• Collect payments and reconcile daily receivables.
• Make outbound satisfaction calls to patients and referrals.
• Support equipment downloads and basic functional tests as needed.
