Jefferson Health Northeast is seeking a Part-Time Patient Services Associate II to courteously process arrivals and departures, verify insurance, and obtain pre-authorizations for procedures. The role supports a smooth patient flow and a positive Jefferson Experience for all patients and visitors.

Qualifikationen

• HS Diploma or equivalent required.
• Must communicate courteously with patients/visitors.
• Willingness to provide a positive Jefferson Experience for all patients/visitors.
• Ability to process and interpret data.
• Ability to multitask while managing a time-sensitive workload.

• Processes check in and/or check out, point of service activities and/or scheduling of patient appointments via EPIC.
• Obtains pre certifications and/or pre authorizations for procedures.
• Maintains efficient flow of practice and escalates patient and/or provider concerns as appropriate.
• Greets and interacts with patients/visitors in a professional manner, on phone or in person.
• Adheres to HIPAA privacy and security requirements.
• Ensures compliance with all applicable federal, state, and local regulatory standards.
• Other duties as requested or assigned.
