Job summary

Jefferson Health is seeking a Patient Services Associate I for the Center City outpatient OMFS practice. You will greet patients, check in/out, verify insurance and referrals, and schedule appointments using EPIC, contributing to a smooth patient visit and positive experience.

You will work at the front desk, maintain HIPAA compliance, handle multiple tasks under pressure, and support a courteous Jefferson Experience for all patients and visitors.

Qualifications

• Must communicate courteously with patients and/or visitors.
• Willingness to provide and support a positive Jefferson Experience for all patients/visitors.
• Ability to complete multiple tasks and work under pressure.
• Ability to maintain confidentiality of patient information.

Responsibilities

• Processes check in and/or check out, point of service activities and scheduling via EPIC.
• Greets and interacts with patients/visitors in a professional manner, on phone or in person.
• Maintains efficient flow of practice and escalates patient/provider concerns as appropriate.
• Adheres to HIPAA privacy and security requirements.
• Other duties as requested or assigned.
