Job summary

Jefferson Health is seeking a Patient Services Associate I to enhance the patient experience by courteously processing arrival and departure activities at the front desk of an outpatient practice. The PSA I verifies insurance, referrals and patient demographics and supports the Jefferson Experience by ensuring prompt, respectful service and efficient patient flow.

Qualifications

• HS Diploma or equivalent required.
• Customer service and/or patient-facing healthcare experience preferred.
• Travelling to other Jefferson Medical Group offices within the Montgomery County area.

Responsibilities

• Process check in/check out and scheduling via EPIC.
• Greet patients/visitors in a professional manner, by phone or in person.
• Maintain efficient flow of practice and escalate concerns as appropriate.
• Adhere to HIPAA privacy and security requirements and applicable regulations.
