Job summary

Bon Secours is hiring a Patient Services Representative for Doctor's Family Medicine in the United States. You will register patients, verify demographics, collect payments, and explain financial options while delivering courteous service.

You may occasionally cover other physician practices as needed. Responsibilities include scheduling, updating medical records, processing insurance, and assisting with referrals and MyChart access.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Prior healthcare patient registration experience preferred.
• Experience with hospital or clinic scheduling is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Serve as the primary contact between patients and physician practices.
• Greet patients and community with strong customer service.
• Schedule appointments and enter information for scheduling in the system.
• Verify demographics and insurance, and collect patient payments when needed.
• Process admission paperwork and verify insurance details.
• Assist with referrals and follow-up scheduling as required.
• Maintain patient charts and assist in chart handling per policy.
