Job summary

Spokane Urology is seeking a Patient Service Representative I to deliver excellent patient service both by phone and in person. You will greet patients, register new cases, collect co-pays, and coordinate appointments while ensuring accurate charting and smooth patient flow.

The role requires 1–3 years of customer service experience, preferably in a medical setting, with strong organizational and communication skills and familiarity with EMR systems and health insurance processes.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent required; some college work preferred.
• 1–3 years of customer service experience required, preferably in a medical office; CPT/ ICD-10 knowledge a plus.

Responsibilities

• Greet and assist patients and visitors in person or over the phone.
• Register new patients and update demographics; collect co-pays and balances.
• Coordinate appointments, scans, filing of medical records, and insurance verification.
• Ensure PHI is protected; maintain front desk area and office supplies.
• Facilitate patient flow and communicate arrivals or delays to clinical staff.
• Answer inquiries courteously and manage multiple tasks efficiently.
