Job summary

Select Medical is seeking a Patient Service Specialist for SPLIT at our Brentwood/Clayton, MO centers. This full-time role handles front-desk duties, patient check-in/out, scheduling, insurance coordination, and co-pays, with a patient-first focus.

You'll greet patients, register them, verify information, and communicate with insurers and care teams. Benefits include mentorship, PTO, medical/dental, and a 401(k) plan; schedule includes multiple shifts across Brentwood and Clayton.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• 1 year Front Desk experience preferred.
• Healthcare experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Greet and register patients and provide information about what to expect during their visit and information about their next appointment as they check out.
• Schedule patient appointments in person and via phone
• Regular communication with parties such as insurance companies and translation companies, market operational leaders, and business development team
• Collect co-pays from patients, manage payer approvals, and conduct insurance authorizations and verifications

Schedule

• Monday- 7:30 AM- 12:30 PM @ Brentwood
• Tuesday- 1:00 PM - 6:00 PM @ Brentwood
• Wednesday- 7:30 AM - 6:30 PM @ Brentwood
• Thursday 7:00 AM- 6:00 PM @ Clayton
• Friday 8:00 AM- 5:00 AM @ Brentwood

Compensation: $18/hour- Increases based on experience.
