Select Medical in Ballwin, MO is seeking a Patient Service Specialist for a FLOAT/SPLIT role at our outpatient center. You will greet patients, register them, and guide them through the visit process, while also handling scheduling and front-desk duties.

The position offers a full-time schedule with floating days, including Ballwin and surrounding counties. Compensation starts at $19/hour and increases with experience, with a strong focus on patient experience and accurate front desk operations.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• 1 year front desk experience preferred.
• Healthcare experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Greet and register patients and provide visit information and next appointment details.
• Schedule patient appointments in person and via phone.
• Coordinate with insurance companies and translation services; liaise with operations and business development teams.

Position:Patient Service Specialist- FLOAT/SPLIT

Location: Ballwin, MO

Type of Employment:Full-time

Schedule:

Monday- Floating

Tuesday- Ballwin 1:30-6:30

Wednesday- Floating

Thursday- Floating

Friday- Ballwin 1:30-6:30

Will be required to float into St. Louis City, St. Louis County, Jefferson County, Warren County, and St. Charles County. Illinois counties include Monroe, Madison, and St. Clair County.

Compensation:$19/hour- Increases based on experience.

Responsibilities

• Schedule patient appointments in person and via phone
• Regular communication with parties such as insurance companies and translation companies, market operational leaders, and business development team
• Collect co-pays from patients, manage payer approvals, and conduct insurance authorizations and verifications

Qualifications

Minimum:

• High School Diploma or GED

• 1 Year Front Desk experience
• Healthcare experience
