Job summary

SSM Health Rehabilitation Center- St.Charles Convention Center & St. Peters Mexico Rd. in Missouri is seeking a Patient Service Specialist to support front desk operations, greet and register patients, and help set expectations for visits.

This full-time role requires organized, customer-focused service at multiple locations. The position includes appointment scheduling, coordination with insurance and translation services, and handling co-pays and authorizations.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• 1 year front desk experience preferred.
• Healthcare experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Greet and register patients and provide information about what to expect during their visit and information about their next appointment as they check out
• Schedule patient appointments in person and via phone
• Regular communication with parties such as insurance companies and translation companies, market operational leaders, and business development team
• Collect co-pays from patients, manage payer approvals, and conduct insurance authorizations and verifications

Full-time- Monday through Friday

Schedule

• Monday and Thursdays @ Mexico Road 7:30-6:30
• Tuesday and Friday @ Convention Center 7:30-12:30
• Wednesday @ Convention Center 7:00-6:00

Compensation:

$18/hour- Increases based on experience.
