Job summary

Select Medical in O'Fallon South, MO is seeking a Patient Service Specialist (FLOAT/SPLIT) to manage front-desk duties and patient flow. The role requires floating across multiple locations, starting with mornings at O’Fallon South and occasional shifts at partner sites.

Compensation starts at $19/hour, with increases based on experience. The position is full-time with a flexible schedule, including 10-hour days and floating coverage across counties in MO and nearby IL.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Front desk experience preferred.
• Healthcare experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Greet and register patients and provide information about visits and next appointments.
• Schedule patient appointments in person and via phone.
• Coordinate with insurance companies, translation services, market operational leaders, and business development team.
• Collect co-pays from patients, manage payer approvals, and conduct insurance authorizations and verifications.

Schedule

Monday, Tuesday, Thursday, and Friday- FLOATING

Wednesday- O'Fallon South 10 hours.

Will be required to float into St. Louis City, St. Louis County, Jefferson County, Warren County, and St. Charles County. Illinois counties include Monroe, Madison, and St. Clair County.

Compensation: $19/hour- Increases based on experience.
