CityMD is seeking a Patient Service Representative to warmly welcome patients at our clinics and provide exemplary customer service. You will register patients, coordinate with the care team to ensure timely turnarounds, answer questions, and handle paperwork related to patient registration.

The role emphasizes urgency, kindness, and accurate data entry, including updating patient information, scanning records, and assisting with insurance questions in collaboration with the Billing department.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED.
• Happy, welcoming, can-do attitude with patients and coworkers.
• Experience in high-volume/high-intensity service industry preferred.
• Excellent verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills.
• Detail-oriented and a team player.
• Computer proficiency and fast keyboarding (approximately 55 wpm).
• Flexible/adaptable in a continuously evolving environment.
• Passion for helping others in a healthcare setting.
• Ability to interact effectively with physicians, patients, and staff.
• Bilingual skills may be required or preferred based on site location.

Responsabilités

• Greet and welcome patients.
• Organize and coordinate intake and appointments.
• Accurately enter/update patient information in the system.
• Assist patients with completing paperwork.
• Scan, update, and file medical records.
• Answer phone calls and inquiries promptly and politely.
• Process insurance information and verify eligibility; liaise with Billing as needed.
• Handle cash and co-payments accurately.
• Provide outstanding customer service to every patient.
• Inform site manager of wait times and patient inquiries.
