Job summary

CityMD is seeking a friendly Patient Service Representative to warmly welcome patients, register them, and coordinate timely intake at our CityMD site. You will handle phone and in-person inquiries with urgency and kindness, ensuring accurate data entry and insurance verification.

The role emphasizes exceptional customer service, teamwork, and adaptability in a busy healthcare environment. Bilingual skills may be required depending on location and patient mix.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Strong verbal and written communication with patients.
• Experience in fast-paced service environments preferred.
• Comfort interacting with physicians and staff.

Responsibilities

• Greet and welcome patients to CityMD.
• Coordinate patient intake and appointments.
• Enter/update patient information in the system.
• Assist with paperwork for registrations.
• Scan, update, and file medical records.
• Answer phones promptly and politely.
• Verify insurance eligibility and address questions.
• Handle cash and co-pays accurately.
• Provide outstanding patient service.
• Inform site manager of wait times and inquiries.
