Job summary

Solaris Health Holdings LLC is seeking a Patient Service Representative II to deliver excellent patient service in a healthcare setting. You will handle non-clinical support, assist with scheduling, registration, and billing-related tasks, and ensure smooth patient flow between clerical and clinical staff.

The ideal candidate brings 2–3 years of customer service experience in a medical office, familiarity with CPT/ ICD-10, and comfort with EMR systems.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent required; Some college work preferred.
• Minimum of 2–3 years’ customer service experience, preferably in a medical office.
• Basic knowledge of CPT procedure coding and ICD-10 coding preferred.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office and navigating EMR systems.
• Excellent verbal and written communication and strong organizational skills.

Responsibilities

• Acts as a resource to patient services staff, guiding on complex issues.
• Welcomes and greets patients/visitors in person or by phone.
• Registers new patients and updates demographics, including financial information.
• Collects outstanding balances and processes co-pays and insurance information.
• Obtains referrals and authorizations as required.
• Scans documents into patient charts and manages electronic records.
• Notifies providers of patient arrivals and coordinates with clinical staff.
• Schedules follow-up services, office visits, and associated procedures.
• Maintains accurate medical records and supports billing with proper charge entries.
