St. Elizabeth Physicians is seeking a Patient Service Representative I to collect patient demographics, insurance information, and assist in revenue-cycle activities.

The role includes data entry into the EMR, scheduling, referral processing, and delivering customer service while adhering to OSHA and HIPAA regulations. The position requires a high school diploma or GED, familiarity with Excel/Word/Outlook/PowerPoint, and preferred certifications such as CCMA/CMA/RMA/EMT.

Qualifications

• Minimum: High School Diploma/G.E.D.
• Knowledge of Excel, Word, Outlook and PowerPoint.

Responsabilités

• Escort patients to exam rooms, interview patients, measure vital signs, and document all information in patients’ chart.
• Document the appropriate patient history in patients’ chart.
• Provide clear direction to the patient and address concerns about the exam and document accordingly.
• Prepare the patient for the exam and assist the provider during the examination.
• Perform nursing procedures under supervision of the providers and administer medications as directed.
• Ensure all patient information and forms are complete and accurate. Maintain logs and compliance with OSHA, CLIA and HIPAA.
