St. Elizabeth Healthcare seeks a Patient Service Representative I to collect accurate patient demographics and insurance details, support revenue cycle activities, and provide courteous customer service.

The role may involve scheduling, payments processing, data entry into EMR, and referral coordination in a busy practice setting. The ideal candidate has at least a High School diploma and 1 year in a customer service role, with familiarity in Excel, Word, Outlook, and PowerPoint preferred.

Competenze

• Minimum: High School Diploma/G.E.D.
• Desired: Medical Office Experience; knowledge of Excel, Word, Outlook and PowerPoint
• 1 year of customer service experience

Mansioni

• Schedules appointments for patients by phone or in person.
• Verifies patient demographic information and current insurance.
• Collects co-pays, self pays, and outstanding balances.
• Ensures accurate data entry into EMR and documentation.
• Answers telephones within three rings and provides friendly service.
• Works with central billing office as needed on requests.
