Job summary

Metro Vein Centers is seeking a patient-focused Patient Service Representative to support front desk operations in a fast-paced outpatient clinic. This role entails check-in/check-out, scheduling, insurance verification, payment collection, and coordination with clinicians throughout the day.

The ideal candidate has 2+ years of customer service experience in a medical setting, professional communication skills, and proficiency with EMR systems. Bilingual English/Spanish is highly preferred.

Qualifications

• Strong customer service and professional communication in a patient-facing setting.
• Ability to multitask between phones, scheduling, check-in, and admin tasks.
• Experience working in a fast-paced outpatient medical office or clinic.
• Attention to detail and accuracy when handling patient information and scheduling.

Responsibilities

• Greet and check in patients in person and by phone.
• Verify insurance eligibility and collect copays or balances.
• Schedule, reschedule, and confirm appointments in the EMR.
• Maintain patient records and documentation in EMR.
