Brown University Health seeks a Patient Service Representative to greet patients, perform registration check-in, answer phones, and schedule appointments. You will obtain referrals/authorizations and manage forms while supporting discharge processes in a busy care setting.

Successful candidates will have two years in a physician’s office, English proficiency, and strong communication skills. Expect a 8:30am–5pm work day at Brown Health Medical Group, Providence, RI.

Qualificações

• Knowledge of Medical Office procedures and terminology.
• Two years experience in a physician’s medical office practice.
• Proficient in English language and computer appointment scheduling skills.

Responsabilidades

• Oversees patient financial process to ensure payments are obtained at time of service.
• Verifies accuracy of patient information—demographics, referrals, authorizations, billing codes, diagnoses.
• Completes end of day batch reconciliation and supports department clerical tasks.
• Maintains patient privacy and confidentiality; adheres to safety and infection control policies.
• May travel to satellite offices to perform duties.
