• Minimum 1 year of experience in a medical office or clinical setting preferred.
• Receptionist/front desk experience is strongly preferred.
• Excellent customer service and communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Greet patients warmly and assist with check-in and check-out.
• Answer phones, schedule appointments, and collect co-pays.
• Verify insurance details and update patient demographics in EPIC.
• Route inquiries and make outbound calls to schedule appointments.
• Maintain accurate records and ensure patient confidentiality per HIPAA.
• Support scheduling of follow-up and referrals; participate in team huddles.
• Monitor wait times and communicate delays with empathy.
